Call for Symposia
Symposium Submission Guidelines
- All submissions must be made online via the website; submissions sent by email will not be considered.
- Presenters of symposium abstracts are responsible for compiling the abstracts and providing appropriate titles to the facilitator/chair for inclusion in the symposium submission before the deadline.
- The individual speaker abstracts must be written at the time of submitting the symposium. These abstracts can either use free-text or sub-headings and must not exceed 350 words.
- A brief biographical sketch (maximum 100 words) must also be added for each of the speakers.
- All submissions will be reviewed by the congress organising committee and selected for inclusion in the programme based on scientific review criteria and availability within the congress programme. Incomplete submissions will not be eligible for review and selection.
- The Committee reserves the right to reassign submissions or recommend alternative formats.
- Presenters of accepted submissions are responsible for registration fees, travel, and accommodation. Sponsorship is not provided by the Organising Committee; presenters are encouraged to seek their own if required.
Symposium Deadlines
- The deadline for symposium submissions is 31 March 2026.
- The facilitator/chair will be notified by email of the review outcome. All submissions will be acknowledged, with acceptance or rejection letters sent by 15 July 2026.
- Registration, including payment for the facilitator / chair and all presenters, must be completed by 30 September 2026.
Submission Structure
- Submissions must be in English only.
- Symposium and abstract titles should be in sentence case (only the first word of the title and any proper nouns or names should begin with a capital letter) and should not exceed 25 words.
- The symposium description should be written in free-text narrative style (not structured with subheadings) and not exceed 350 words.
- The individual abstracts may be submitted as free text or with sub-headings and must not exceed 350 words.
- Content should clearly describe the symposium theme and scope. Figures, graphs, or tables should not be included.
- Provide the full name, surname, affiliation, and country of all contributors. Do not include qualifications. Ensure all presenters have approved their inclusion.
- Carefully proofread for spelling, grammar, and factual accuracy before submission.
- Complete all required fields on the online submission form accurately.
Facilitator/Chair and Presenters Responsibilities
- The facilitator/chair will serve as the primary contact and is responsible for communicating arrangements to their team and compiling the final programme for their session.
- Presenters contributing to a symposium are responsible for preparing their abstracts and submitting the final titles to the facilitator/chair for inclusion in the symposium submission before the deadline of 31 March 2026.
- All individuals participating in the session are responsible for their own registration fees. Accepted submissions will only be included in the programme once full registration and payment have been completed by the deadlines communicated via email.
- In case of emergency, an alternative presenter should be nominated, as symposia are a key part of the scientific programme and sessions cannot be cancelled once finalised.
